Although you can do far more with automations, we wanted to take a few moments to explain the difference between email marketing and email automation and how each can be used to effectively nurture the leads in your sales funnel.

We also talk about some examples of each. Email marketing is about sending relevant messages to segmented audiences with single campaign emails from newsletters to product promotions.

Email automation is automated follow-ups and responses to those people who take specific actions. This takes some work off of your plate while keeping your message and brand in front of your customers.
