What do data analysts DO?! Here’s a project walkthrough for an entry level data analyst! This goes by fast because we’re on tiktok, it’s okay if you need to pause or rewatch for it to make sense. Any data analytics project essentially boils down to: 1. Locate the data using SQL 2. Select the data using SQL 3. Visualize the data using Tableau 4. None of my friends were in this field and I really only had myself to push me and figure out what to learn. Over the course of the past 3 years I have learned more than I ever thought possible. I am now a data analyst at a Fortune 500 company making over 100k and it seems a bit surreal. I have a lot more aspirations for my career and I hold myself a little higher knowing I worked incredibly hard to be where I am now.
