You must always follow up after a job interview because it demonstrates good manners, ambition for the position you have applied for, and it also puts you at the forefront of the hiring managers mind when they are deciding which candidate to offer the job to.
2 INTERVIEW FOLLOW-UP EMAILS TO SEND THE HIRING MANAGER
FOLLOW-UP EMAIL 1. The first email you should send the hiring manager is a THANK YOU EMAIL. You should send this as soon as you get home after your job interview.
FOLLOW-UP EMAIL 2. The second email should be sent if you haven’t heard anything from the hiring manager or the company 5 days after the interview has finished. This is called an interview FOLLOW-UP EMAIL.
